The Delegate for Teaching coordinates the work of the committee, liaising with the other contact persons, in particular with the department's Quality Assurance contact person, as well as the other figures and offices that are instrumental in the optimal coordination of the Courses of Study.

The Teaching Commettee contributes to the coordination of Courses of Study and the monitoring of management and quality processes, taking into account the opinions expressed by the Joint Commission and liaising with the Quality Assurance contact person(s). In particular, it coordinates the drafting of study manifestos, coordinates - in agreement with the presidents of the Courses of Study and after hearing the indications of the Quality Assurance contact person(s) - the drafting of the RRCs, SUA, SMA, and other documents for Teaching Quality Assurance.

The delegate for Third Mission coordinates and monitors the Department's activities in this area, promotes its communication and valorization in the University and in the territory. The delegate for Third Mission participates in the relevant University Commission and coordinates the Department Commission, and also coordinates with the delegate for communication and with the contact person for institutional relations and with territorial cultural bodies. In consultation with The Department Director and the members of the TM Commission, he/she periodically monitors the progress of Third Mission activities and reports the progress to the Department Council.

The Third Mission and Public Engagement Committee monitors departmental planning, provides information to department members on calls administered or publicized at the University level, and assists the Third Mission Delegate(s) in his or her duties.

The delegate for internationalization coordinates the committee in achieving its objectives related to the promotion and coordination of international collaboration initiatives, offering assistance to students/students in international mobility programs and collaborating with the University's International Relations Office.

The duties of the Commission on Internationalization are as follows:

  1. Promotion and coordination of international collaboration initiatives in a broad sense. Instruction of the practices of international exchange programs with European and non-European partners.
  2. Organization of information meetings aimed at students interested in participating in student mobility programs (Erasmus+ Study, Erasmus+ Traineeship and Erasmus+ Extra EU).
  3. In collaboration with the University's International Relations Office, carrying out the selections of candidates and drawing up the rankings of students eligible for mobility (Erasmus+ Study, Erasmus+ Traineeship and Erasmus+ Non-EU).
  4. In collaboration with Department faculty responsible for mobility agreements, teaching assistance to students (incoming and outgoing) participating in international exchange programs.

The Departmental Delegate for Study Orientation coordinates the orientation activities of courses of study regarding, in particular, the organization of meetings with schools and the supervision of publications related to the presentation of courses of study. The delegate also interacts with the University Guidance Office.

The objective of 'Tutoring in itinere' is to assist female students throughout their course of study in order to make them active participants in the educational process, to remove any obstacles to fruitful course attendance. The delegate for in-progress tutoring offers personalized support to those who, for a wide variety of reasons (difficulties in passing specific exams, in reconciling study and work, in identifying a profitable study method, or other), have obtained a lower number of formative credits than the number envisaged in the study plan.

The delegate coordinates initiatives related to the communication of the Department's activities, particularly through the website.
 As part of this, he/she collects and evaluates proposals for information to be placed on the site and, in synergy with the technical-informatics staff, takes care of its publication. The goal is to improve the clarity and effectiveness with which information is made available to users, particularly students

The Disability Delegate deals with issues related to the difficulties of students with disabilities and DSA in learning, in his or her examinations and in social practices related to course attendance.

The Delegate for Equal Opportunity promotes and coordinates Department initiatives and projects inspired by the principles of gender equality and equal opportunity; maintains relations with national and international bodies working in this area and liaises with the University and cultural and associative bodies to promote their dissemination.

Equal Opportunity Commettee (2015-2021

The 2015-2021 Equal Opportunity Commission (EOC), composed of Valeria Ribeiro Corossacz (coordinator), Elisa Rossi, and Giovanna Buonanno, aimed to embrace the discrimination experiences of female students in the Department and to advocate for educational and scholarly activities aimed at promoting a shared understanding of discrimination based on gender, origin, sexual orientation, and disability.

The Commission has also promoted activities to counter such discrimination through initiatives in the Department, fostering an egalitarian exchange based on respect within the university environment and serving as a liaison with the University CUG.

The Chairperson coordinates the work of the Commission, maintains contact with the Student Secretariat, informs the Departmental Council about the work of the Commission, supervises the preparation of the minutes of the test, collects information about the candidates from the Student Secretariat, and ensures the passage of information to the candidates regarding the online connection and the mode of administration of the test.

 The committee is responsible for developing an Italian language test and administering it remotely. prior to matriculation to non-EU students residing abroad who do not meet the qualifications for exemption as indicated on the University website.

The function of the test is to check their ability to attend classes in Italian language courses, study on Italian language texts and pass the final tests.
