Delegate
The Delegate for Teaching supervises committee work and liaises with the other contact persons, particularly in relation to quality assurance.
Committee
The Teaching Committee contributes to the coordination of degree courses and the monitoring of management and quality processes. In particular, it coordinates the drafting of study plans in agreement with the heads of degree courses.
Delegate
The Delegate for Third Mission coordinates and monitors the Department's activities in this area. The Delegate liaises with cultural institutions from the surrounding territory. S/he periodically monitors third mission activities and reports to the Department Council.
Committee
The Third Mission and Public Engagement Committee monitors departmental planning, provides information on calls administered or publicized at the University level, and assists the Third Mission Delegate in his or her duties.
Delegate for Internationalization
The Delegate for Internationalization coordinates the Committee's efforts to promote and manage international collaboration. The delegate and the Committee assist students with international mobility programs and work closely with the University's International Relations Office.
Internationalization Committee
The Committee’s main tasks are:
- Promoting and coordinating international collaboration initiatives, and handling international exchange programs with European and non-European partners.
- Organizing information sessions for students interested in mobility programs (ERASMUS+ Mobility for Study – EU and Extra EU and ERASMUS+ FOR TRAINEESHIP EU and Extra EU).
- Managing the selection and ranking of students eligible for mobility programs (ERASMUS+ Mobility for Study – EU and Extra EU and ERASMUS+ FOR TRAINEESHIP EU and Extra EU) in collaboration with the International Relations Office.
- Working with the department Erasmus coordinators responsible for mobility agreements to support both incoming and outgoing students in exchange programs.
Delegate
The Departmental Delegate for Study Orientation promotes the Department to secondary schools by presenting degree courses. The Delegate also interacts with the University Guidance Office.
The objective of tutoring is to assist and engage with students to encourage them to be active learners and remove any obstacle to fruitful course attendance. Tutors offer personalized support to those who have earned a lower number of formative credits than envisaged in their study plan.
Delegate
The delegate coordinates initiatives related to the communication of the Department's activities, particularly through the website.
As part of this, he/she collects and evaluates proposals for information to be placed on the site and, in synergy with the technical-informatics staff, takes care of its publication. The goal is to improve the clarity and effectiveness with which information is made available to users, particularly students
Delegate
The Disability Delegate deals with issues related to the difficulties of students with disabilities and DSA in learning, in his or her examinations and in social practices related to course attendance.

The Delegate for Equal Opportunity promotes and coordinates Department initiatives and projects inspired by the principles of gender equality and equal opportunity and maintains relations with national and international bodies working in this area and liaises with the University and cultural institutions to promote best practices.
Equal Opportunity Commission (2015-2021)
The 2015-2021 Equal Opportunity Commission (EOC), composed of Valeria Ribeiro Corossacz (coordinator), Elisa Rossi, and Giovanna Buonanno, promoted activities aimed at a shared understanding of discrimination based on gender, origin, sexual orientation, and disability.
The Commission also promoted activities to counter such discrimination through a wide range of initiatives.
Committee chairperson
The Chairperson coordinates the Committee, liaises with student secretaries, informs the Department Council on the Committee’s work, supervises test preparation, collects information about candidates from the student secretaries, and ensures candidates are informed about the test.
Committee
The Committee is responsible for developing an Italian language test. This is administered remotely ahead of matriculation to those non-EU students who live abroad and do not meet eligibility criteria reported on the University website.
The test checks students’ ability to attend classes in Italian, study texts in Italian and pass the final exams.
